2025 Annual Spring Rug Hooking Event
May 15-16-17, 2025

Deadline to reserve room in Room Block is May 1, 2025. Ask for a room under the group name “Spring Rug Hooking Event 2025”.
The Hook-in will be held in the Heritage Meeting Rooms at the Hotel. Doors will open each day at 9:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM. You can park in the back parking lot of the Hotel and enter through the Kitchen doors to the Meeting Rooms. Please check in with Joyce when you arrive at the Hook-in.
HOOK-IN EVENT SCHEDULE will be posted in the Hooking Room.
ENTRY FEES: $75 (for 2-3 days) $30 (for one day)
There is limited space available for attendees. Please pre-register, (cash or checks only) for this Hook-in to ensure that you have a spot at the Event. Print the Registration Form below and return to address shown on form along with your check.

MEALS: Lunch will be catered on Friday. Other meals will be on your own for the Hook-in. The Hotel serves Continental Breakfast every morning and there are plenty of eating establishments within walking distance of the Hotel or within a short distance by vehicle.
You are welcomed to bring appetizers or other snacks to share with the group. I will provide all paper and plastic products.
SALE TABLE: Available in the Hooking Room for fiber-related items only. PLEASE no wool. Mark your items with your name & price. Take home what you don't sell.
RUG SHOW: Bring your rugs to show off! The Rug Show will be in the Heritage Room, Saturday, 10 AM-Noon.
OPEN SHOPPING: Saturday, 10 AM - Noon. There is no charge for stopping in at the Hook-in Saturday morning just to shop for supplies.
This Hook-in will end at 6:00 PM Saturday night

Class Added to Spring Hook-in !!!
I am pleased to announce that Georgia Adams, Georgeville Store, Cowgill, Missouri has offered to teach a class at the Annual Spring Hook-in in Owatonna, Minnesota. Georgia is known for her primitive rug hooking designs and her hand-dyed wool and is a well-known Rug Artist among the Rug Hooking Community. She offers a variety of classes as well as other rug hooking supplies such as frames, rug hooks, and cutters in her shop in Cowgill.
Class Fee: $100.00 - Class will run 3 days, 9-3 each day, in the Hooking Room
This will be an “Open” rug hooking class, meaning that you can hook any pattern that you wish and use your own wool or you can contact Georgia and purchase one of her patterns before the Hook-in. Georgia can either mail the pattern to you or bring it to the Hook-in for you. She will also have her rug patterns and wool available for purchase at the Hook-in. Georgia will help you with color planning, teach you a few tricks, and provide tips for hooking a beautiful rug.
